PB & J (peanut butter & jelly, not)

Haha. I am even laughing myself looking at the title of this post. Reminds me of my niece even, which now thinks the love of her life is peanut butter and jelly sandwich! Kids.

Well, enough with food. I am actually referring to Peter Bjorn & John when I wrote PB & J. A 3 piece band, all hailed from Sweden ( I think Swedish people make awesome musicians, period) playing indie rock and pop music although I think they are more of indie pop than indie rock. Clip above is a song taken from their latest and sixth album release, Gimme Some. The track is titled Second Chance. Of course, their first major debut was with Young Folks. People who watch Gossip Girl would know this, the song is actually also known as the whistling song, because of the whistling part (duh). I can't remember I heard the song first on Gossip Girl or Dirty Sexy Money. TV shows aside, I think they are genius or even brilliant musicians. Just listen to the opening of the song. Genius, yes?

And the fact that you can actually hum to this song for the whole week, if not month, is just awesome.
