This album wasn't high on my most awaited album for 2013, but upon looping this for weeks in the car, it should be, so that is why this is numero 5 in my list.
Four years after their third release, Alex Kapranos & Co. return with Right Thoughts Right Words Right Actions. Obviously to compare this with their successful debut self-titled album is just not fair because this release will lose definitely but after a few listens, there are actually some good tunes, Love Illumination is one of them. It says 'We could love we could love you if you need somebody to love you while you're looking for somebody to love you.' Well, okay then Franz Ferdinand, I need all the love you can give.
Also I had the privilege to catch them live when they headlined this year's MASSIVE Urbanscapes. They sound even better live, one of the best live acts I have seen, also Alex is just so sexy, one of the sexiest lead singers!
Might not be a hit with most critics, but it is a hit with me.
