I was presented with an opportunity a few weeks ago and I took it. It came at the right time but when I wasn't looking for it. I don't know if this is what 'if you stop looking,it will come to you' means. HAHA.
Anyways, my second semester was just over and I was done with my first year of my Masters degree. HOW. TIME. FLIES. I thought I wouldn't survive, but here I am, writing about surviving. Hopefully, next year will be a better one, in terms of my result. I was actually doing well for my carry marks, but I couldn't do well in exams, because I didn't read or wasn't reading enough. Must not be lazy next semester and do better!
My aunt was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she's currently undergoing chemotherapy sessions. It is hard on me and my family, but I can only imagine how hard it must be for her. I hope she will recover well and be cancer free after her chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Also, shout out to Institut Kanser Negara for having the best service ever. I like it there, the doctors and nurses and the staff are all helpful and oh so kind. Finally, I see the taxes I paid are being put to good use. On another note, get screened earlier people. If you can detect cancer earlier, insyaAllah it can be cured but the key is early detection. I heard many stories while I was at IKN that most were too scared to come to the hospital when they detected lumps and ended up going to the hospitals when the situations got worse. We were lucky, my aunt's condition was detected early. I hope she'll be cancer free soon!
And Raya is around the corner, I hope everyone is having a blessed Ramadhan, and will have a Raya that is filled with happiness and love and all things nice.
Wow, talk about #updatesofmylife.
