Privileged.

Well, the recent gas price hike was all over the news, not to mention Twitter. I don't know about Facebook, because I am no longer an active citizen on it, but I am pretty sure it caused quite a stir.

I am sorry that I haven't been complaining much on the price hike, if that offends some people.

I don't complain because that would totally make me look like an asshole when I have been talking about buying concert tickets and traveling and spending a generous amount of money on coffee, dining out and having fun with my family and friends (if you know, my spending on food is a no brainer).

And now I am excited for the new iPhone.

I could spend thousands on the things that, mind you, I want (not need) and I still want to complain about the hike.

Honestly, if I do, I would be so ashamed of myself.

I am in no position to complain.

With that being said, I am not being obnoxious or bragging about things that I CAN buy or anything like that, but I am saying that, complaining about the price hike is not a luxury I can afford, because I am privileged enough (for now, hopefully forever, insyaAllah) to afford it.

If you complain because you're in a position to do so, then go ahead, I will do the same if I was in your position.

But I am not, and complaining will totally make me feel like a selfish prick, and would totally offend people who actually are in the position to complain, and that's what I don't want to feel.

But this is me. And why I don't complain, well, not much.
